Monika will provide an overview of some of the principal Śrīvidyā rituals revolving around the beautiful, motherly and erotic goddess Tripurasundarī, which allow Tantric practitioners to acknowledge their oneness with the Goddess and, in turn, to experience mokṣa, or liberation. Differently from a majority of Western Tantric practices, which are inscribed within a modern capitalistic framework, South Asian traditions remain firmly embedded within a divine cosmology governed by the Goddess.

It involves making offerings into a ceremonial fire in a specified way.
